Amogenta is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections in cattle and sheep caused by organisms susceptible to amoxicillin and gentamicin. These include respiratory tract infections (such as pneumonia), gastrointestinal infections, urinary tract infections, metritis, mastitis, uterine infetions, foot infections, and cutaneous diseases.
Each 1 ml contains
Amoxicillin (as Amoxicillin trihydrate) — 150 mg
Gentamicin (as Gentamicin sulphate) — 40 mg
Excipients — q.s. 1 ml
Route of Administration: Intramuscular injection
• Cattle: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight daily for 3–5 days
• Sheep: 0.5 ml per 10 kg body weight daily for 3–5 days
