ACITREAT is indicated for the control of metabolic acidosis caused by severe renal disease, diabetes, circulatory failure due to shock or severe dehydration, and severe lactic acidosis.
It also acts on alkalinizing the urine in livestock and dogs.
Each 100 ml contains:
• Sodium bicarbonate — 8.4 g
Administer by slow intravenous injection at a dosage of 2 – 5 ml per kg body weight within 4 – 8 hours.
Store in a cool place and keep out of direct sunlight.
