CEFTI HCL is a potent third-generation cephalosporin formulation designed for fast and reliable control of severe bacterial infections in cattle. It delivers strong bactericidal action against respiratory pathogens, foot rot–causing bacteria, and acute metritis, ensuring quick clinical recovery, improved appetite, and restored productivity. With zero milk withdrawal and a short meat withdrawal period, it is ideal for dairy and beef operations requiring effective treatment with minimal interruption to production.
CEFTI HCL is indicated for the treatment of:
• Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD) caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni
• Foot rot associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus
• Acute metritis within 10 days post-calving caused by Escherichia coli, Arcanobacterium pyogenes, and Fusobacterium necrophorum
Each 1 ml contains
• Ceftiofur Hydrochloride — 50 mg
• Excipients ad — 1 ml
Route of Administration: Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection
• BRD & Foot Rot: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight once daily for 3–5 days
• Metritis: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight once daily for 5 consecutive days
