Tilmicosin is a broad-spectrum, semi-synthetic antibiotic synthesized from tylosin with bactericidal
activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, predominantly Mycoplasma, Pasteurella
and Haemophilus spp.

Respiratory infections in calves and poultry, caused by microorganisms susceptible to tilmicosin.

For oral administration in drinking water or (artificial milk).
– Poultry: ca. 15 – 20 mg/kg body weight (75 mg/litre of drinking water, equivalent to 300 ml per
1,000 litres of drinking water, daily, for 3 consecutive days.

– Calves: 15 – 20 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 6 – 8 ml per 10 kg body weight, daily, for 3 – 5 consecutive days ( in drinking water or artificial milk pre-warmed at 40°C).Shake well before use!
The consumption of drinking water should be determined with accuracy. Medicated water should
be used immediately and refreshed for every 24 hours for the duration of treatment.
